Why am I still alive?!
A couple weeks ago I went to my friends party and had about 6-8 shots in maybe 2 hours!. I'm 105 pounds at 5 ft!. 3!. I actually ended up driving home 2 hours after I'd gotten to the party and made it back without a scratch, although the ride was pretty damn scary and I'm not driving that drunk again!. The thing is, my BAC would have been like a !.26 or something, so I shouldn't have been able to stand up straight, let alone drive!. I don't really understand, is it because I have a fast metabolism!?

I think your metabolism had an effect on it!. Your drinks were spaced out enough that you could get some of that out of your system before you drank more!. It could also be affected by what you ate, alcohol has a stronger affect if your stomach is empty!. All in all, you were very lucky!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I flipped my car over last summer, drunk as he**, and my bf at the time and I made it out without a scratch!.!.!.thanks to God!.!.but my brand new car!? Totaled!. I am glad you put your concern in perspective, luv!. Sounds like you learned a lesson!. I had the same experience when I was like 18!. I ran my car into a ditch and cement culvert on someones driveway at about 50mph!. I broke my C-2 vertibrae (second vert!. below my skull)!.!.!.!.and would have paralyzed me from the neck down!. I was lucky!. The bone broke, but did not move!.!.!.!.thereby not involving my spinal cord!. My car was not so lucky!. It was totalled!. I spent a week in traction!.!.!.and in one of those neck contraptions for the next three months!. I completely recovered!. I am glad you are still alive!. You only live once!.
