It depends on which way you look at it.
if you drank it, its half full, if someone else drank it, its half empty
If you have plenty more, it's half full. If it's your last one, it's half empty.

pour out the full 1/2 of the bottle into one jug then ..
pour out the empty 1/2 into the other ..
if u have 2 jugs with the same amount ...u've drunk 1/2 a bottle and seeing double

that is the dumbest question i've seen today. if it's a bottle, there's a good chance you can see thru it. so then the answer is LOOK IN IT! if you're an optimist, it'll be half full. personally, it's either half full of matter, or half full of air. either way i win.
