Birthday party ideas for a turning 5 Girl?!

Question:

Birthday party ideas for a turning 5 Girl?

I want something original, and even at a place other than my house. I was thinking about no more then 10 girls and less than $200 budget.

Answers:
You could purchase a beading kit. I got one from Costco for only $20.00 and then they can make bracelet and earings. There will also be lots of left over beads for when your daughter has a sleep over. Or just save for one of those, "Mom, there is nothing to do days". If you have a Michael's craft store you could also get a kit from there. On Sunday's they generally have a 40% off coupon. You could also do cupcakes and have some fun sprinkles, cookies, and candies so they can decorate each one they way they would like.

try doing a jumpin play thing that you rent and cake and ice cream

Take them to a fun active place that they all can enjoy, with your budget you have a lot of resonable things you would be able to do. Have them go to a movie like Shrek 3! Kids could eat at the park and open presents!

Hope your daughter has a nice birthday,
Jenna

You could take 10 girls to a zoo (a big one or a petting zoo) on that amount of money. It would be fun and active and you could have a cake themed after the animals you will see at the zoo. And you could paint all their faces like zoo animals. Super cute.

Have a "princess" dance party, make an endless cd of kids songs,,, turn a room into a big dance floor, with spining lights and hang cords of christmas flashing lights up on the wall and have them all dress in dresses. Get some prizes to give out to the best dancers. You can also set up a craft table to make some fun projects, like crowns and wands. Girls at age 5 enjoy running around with their friends, so you don't have to keep too much on the activity list.

princess themed b-day party

HAVE A SPA DAY FOR THEM THAT WOULD BE FUN AND IF YOU COULD GET YOUR FRIENDS TO HELP YOU ALL COULD PAMPER THEM AND STUFF

I say maybe like a cool scavenger hunt where they have to go and find things and then at the end of the scavenger hunt they all get a little prize then after that maybe put on a movie....maybe like I don't know Beauty and the Beast or something then cake ice cream..pizza

have a disney princess theme

We took our 4 year old daughter bowling, they did the food and cleanup we just brought the kids and cake! Less than $200

How about a "flower power" party?

You could decorate with giant tissue paper flowers and balloons. The girls could make flower t-shirts (I saw this in Family Fun Magazine - - I've typed the link below), you could have a flower cake, make sandwiches cut out with flower shaped cookie cutters. (Lots of ideas on that site!) You could even have the girls decorate flower pots and plant seeds or seedlings of a favorite flower.

You could cut out paper place mats and coasters in the shape of flowers to decorate the table. You could go crazy with real or fake flowers all over the place.

Oh! The girls could make crazy hats - - decorating paper plates or dollar store straw hats with artificial flowers.

Flower leis would be good favors, too, in keeping with the theme.

I hope your 5 year old will have a wonderful birthday!

maybe take the girls roller blading???or see a movie or inside swimming!

First you could take them to the movies. I advise not to buy popcorn. After the movie they are bound to be hungry so go to somewhere ilke Pizza Hut or Chuckie Cheese for some pizza. After that you should bring them home and have indoor fun. The girls could play dress up, dance, or play some board games like Candy Land. You should start setting up some snacks, cake, and preparing the table while they are playing. When they want to clean up they will be ready to eat cake and open presents. And maybe have a little sleepover with her friends.

You can always do DQ or McD's, or even if you have the nerve Chuck E. Cheese. These places will be fairly cheap except maybe CEC. But even at the city park or a pavillion. It depends on where you live and the temp outside but just a thought. Good luck and have fun!!

You can decorate the living room like a wonderland; with sweets, chocolates, soft toys lying around and children's music. Dress her like Alice in the wonderland. Paint all their little face, make them sing and dance. They can have treasure hunt and mini bowling too.
