What is so fun about drinking?!
I just finished my freshman year of college and to be honest I did not drink because I see no point!. The thing is no one can tell me why it is fun!. I was wondering if someone here could explain it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I really don't get the point of drinking especially to the point of being drunk!.
I especially can not stand it when people behave badly and do stupid things, and get away with it because they supposedly didn't know what they were doing!.
Sorry I cant tell you why people think it is fun when their characters change and their moods are magnified because of alcohol consumption!.

I guess the cause of drinking is to get drunk!!! Once you get drunk, you make non-sense desicions and actions!. There are pros and cons to drinking!. Pros: so you can have a good time, and actually have stories to tell years from now and laugh at them with friends (that's if you can remember, lol)!. also maybe do it again!. Cons: if you have really low tolerence and is street dumb, then maybe it'll lead you to death, diseases, arrest, jail, pregnant, etc!. You really have to think if drinking is for you!!! if you see no point, then don't drink!. I drink occasionally because I feel like it and i like to party!. Plus I have high tolerence so I know my limit!.

It is about allowing yourself to let loose!. The alcohol reduces your inhibitions but that just means if you're more predisposed to doing something then you're more likely to do it if you're under the influence!.
For example to say people generally act like fools when they're drunk is totally false and misleading!. They were more likely to act like that to begin with, the alcohol just pushed them towards it!. If you're not a silly person you won't "magically" become silly when you drink anymore than a straight person will become gay unless they're "predisposed"
Don't listen to the puritans who do not believe people under 21 cannot drink responsibly!. What about Europe!? Furthermore why is the US and about two other countries alone in this arbitrary restriction!? It's because there NO medical basis for it whatsoever, plus an 18 year old is really no different in maturity from a 21 year old either, they've both almost finished adolescence!.
Finally it is not irresponsible to get drunk, it is only irresponsible if you drink excessively without knowing your limitations or choosing to ignore them!.
For me, I just enjoy drinking then heading out to a club and dancing like a maniac with my mates!. Its liberating, i'm sorry if you can't understand that!. And you never will if you don't try it, just remember your reaction to alcohol is not a reflection on everyone elsesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, your probably just not a drinker, its not for everyone!.Personally I like it alot!. You'll eventually get used to the bad or strong taste, but I love how social it makes me!. I'm pretty outgoing, but with a few drinks it makes it extremley easy for me to start conversations with some really cool ppl that I probably wouldn't have thought of speaking to!. So its a social lubricant for me!. I always make sure to stop at my limit though because personally I see no point in getting drunk, especially as a female!. I like the taste of beer, and then once or twice a year, I like to drink myself into a state of oblivion!. Its fun just to get crazy stupid and say anything to anyone at anytime!.!.!. Some people can get away with getting drunk around others!. Some turn into *******!. As long as you still are friendly and nice while drunk, and you don't make a habit out of it, there's no reason not to drink!.

They mock you over the microphone, talk about your "stank breath", trashy clothes, poor self image and they post those pictures of you passed out on stage on their website with the words "C*M DUMPSTER" under your face!. I know this because my boyfriend is in the band!. And I took your picture as you flashed the stage!. Would you want your boss to see you like that!? How about your Mom!?!?!?

It's not fun at all!. I'm 55 and have beendrinking since 11 yrs old!. Till this day I drink, happily fly off to bed, then pray to God not to do this ever again!.!.!.such a waste of precious time!.
