King Kong party ideas?
My son wants a King Kong themed birthday party (turning 8). I usually have good ideas buthave only come up with a jungle based theme (like the movie). Any food, games and decoration ideas?

For jungle-themed items, go to Oriental Trading. They are online. Then serve something with bananas.

I like the jungle theme and they usually have that at party stores. You could buy or make some fake rainforest type trees, vines, etc. Decorate with fake colorful flowers and vivid paper goods to match.
The only food I could think of is bananas. :) Maybe a banana pudding with nilla wafers. Maybe that's just my hunger talking! lol.

or you could dress up as kong and get a hot chick to be ann darrow...not much fun for the kids but chuck them some bananas and it might keep em happy for a bit.
Yeah, do all tiki and buy a gorilla mask. Have a game where the kids take turns being "chained" with a ribbon to two tiki torches facing away from the group.
Then another kid is chosen at random who puts on the the mask and sneaks up behind the "chanined" person and roars and tickles them or something, while all the other kids chant "Kong, Kong"
The person who is "chained" has to guess which kid is King Kong and gets a prize if they can guess who Konged them. The person who wore the mask last time is the person who gets chained the next time.
