Need party ideas for a group of 75-100 people?!

Question:

Need party ideas for a group of 75-100 people?

My brother threw a party for my dad's 90th birthday last weekend, rented a hall, had a DJ, excellent food and even a limo ride to the casino. We all had such a good time, that we want to do it again soon. I would like to give a party for my birthday in August and I thought about a cruise around the bay but am on a budget and will have to research to see if affordable. I need other suggestions that would offer the same caliber of entertainment and would be affordable. Not sure how much of a budget I would be willing to spend just yet but no more than $2000. Thank you.

Theme parties are always fun - I have done several - such as a Hawaiian party complete with "grass" skirts, drinks from coconuts, palm fronds, tiki hut type decorations, hula contests.... a pajama party, everyone came in their jammies, some in curlers!, played all kinds of fun games, had great music, fun prizes (lots of teddy bears) and candid pictures.... toga party - made the place look like a real fun greek palace with a lot of gold spray paint.... Once you pick a theme, get online and you can get loads of cheap ideas - creating an atmosphere is always fun..OH, and a period party (such as a 50's party is always fun!) .... Tip..always have "costumes" on hand for those who show up without a costume....!

try maybe renting some place that overlooks the water, maybe have people pay you to get in, make some of your money back. have lots of food, buy things in bulk at like costco or sams club and cook them yourself

jus ' rock the floor with rockin' music, chill out by cold drinks,
keep a 'best costume competition' and have the party on the beach.u'll have a great B'day blast

Prime Rib. $20 worth per person
