Wise decision!. I don't know what kind of boss you have and he may be a jerk so I think you did the right thing considering the type of work that you do!. I am a boss where I work and I am pretty lenient because my boss is 72 years old and he even drinks at lunch!. I guess it is the nature of what we are doing!.
