Is it bad to drink a beer that has been left in the fridge for 2 months?!

Question: Is it bad to drink a beer that has been left in the fridge for 2 months!?
Answers:
Most mass produced beer has a shelf life of a few months from the date it was bottled/canned!. It is intended to be consumed fresh!. After a few months, the flavor will begin to dissipate and it will not taste good at all!. It shouldn't get you sick as mass produced beer is pasteurized and no bacteria will live in beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I actually disagree with some of the previous answers - i had about 4 Sam Adams beers in my fridge for about 3 months, had one and got a huge stomach ache - plus it tasted a bit funny - i would say it's a personal choice to drink old beer - but hey if it tastes good still, then it should be ok!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go ahead and drink it!. While most beers taste better the fresher they are you don't have to worry about it spoiling, especially when refrigerated!. Before they made it to you they spent ages in a hot warehouses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It'll be fine!. My dad used to buy a six pack for a friend of his who only visited once a year!. He'd drink 3, and the next year he'd drink the last 3!. He never minded!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why would you still have beer in your fridge for 2 months!? beer does not stay in our fridge for 2 days - has your fridge been padlocked or something!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
