Have drinks with low amounts of alchohol!. That way you can still drink but not get immediately drunk!.

Never drink on an empty stomach!. Have a full meal prior to drinking (not WHILE drinking!. That makes you drink and eat more!.)

Avoid drinking with people who you know have difficutly controlling themselves; it eggs you on!.

Don't mix drinks!. Wine and beer do not get along!.

Drink a lot of water before, between, and after drinks; alcohol dehydrates you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
