Wine Specialist how much trouble would a store or restaurant be in if customers pour themselves wine samples?!
If no one was standing near or watching the wine tasting table or counter for a few minutes or more!?What happens when teammembers or a sales person got little careless by not asking someone else to watch the wine samples for them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
So the answer is impacted by who owns the beverage!. In a tasting room where you are pouring samples perhaps at no charge you are required to pour them for customers!. It's hard to know how much trouble you would get in but generally if you routinely allow this to happen you could lose your license in most US states!. If you see it happen once and tell the customer that they cannot do it and deal with it effectively then the authorities would probably not be happy you allowed it but would respect your diligence!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
well u would have to have signs about risk and minors!.
Id think u would also have to control the dispensor!.!.!. if its a bottle it need the thing on it to stop u from pouring back into the bottle!. and if its a tap then u need to be able to say its clean!.!. (no flies in ur place ) or a tap cap or something!.
In terms of legal stuff i cant see any!.!.!. well not in my country!. They allow u to self serve in some public places and that includes drinks etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
