How long does a bottle of red wine last if you just stick the cork back in...?!


Question: How long does a bottle of red wine last if you just stick the cork back in!.!.!.!?
to drink it later!? (eg oxidiation etc)

and no, i am not looking for the answer "until you finish drinking it" although that may be true given the circumstances! =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just a few days, the taste will start to turn after that!. You could get another day or two if you stick it in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I still drink it after a couple of days although I tend to put cling film over the top, not sure if that actually helps though!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can't believe there's any left in the bottle!. You could freeze it for use in sauces/stews if you don't want to drink it later!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have wine bottle re-sealers, but don't really need them!. It would never be there more than a day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

aim for no more than 3 days!. By the second day- the taste has changed!.
