Alcoholism is an addiction caused by someone without the will to control his or her own actions when it comes to drinking!.
The only cure for alcoholism is to stop drinking!.

There is definitely a better chance you could awaken a predisposition to addiction by indulging in alcohol and drugs!.

After watching most of my family destroy their lives with addictions to alcohol and drugs!.!. including my mother and brother, I choose to just not drink or do drugs!. Who knows!? There is not one single person on my mom's side who is not an alcoholic!. So, I"m not taking any chances!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some alchoholics have different metabolisms than non-alchoholics!. This is why American Indians and some other non-european cultures have higher rates of alchoholism!.

Probably not!.!.!.if your parents are addicts of something!.!.!.drugs or alcohol!.!.!.then sometimes the children tend to become addicts as well but that is not always true!. I would say you don't have alcoholism though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
