Answers:
It could take a month to get from raw materials to a keg of lager!. As stated, ales are closer to two weeks, but could take up to a month also!.

But once in the keg you can tap it immediately!. No brewing occurs in kegs, of any kind!. Home brewers use fermenting tanks (amounting to plastic buckets that are very clean with an airlock)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beer can be ready in as little as ten days!. This will be beer that is force carbonated with carbon dioxide gas rather than bottle conditioned (or cask conditioned)!.

You have more money invested into a kegging system, but you can have beer ready in two weeks rather than four to six weeks for bottle conditioned beer!.

This is for ales!. Lagers take longer because of the colder fermentation temperatures!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
