Answers:
The woman who's interviewing you already knows that anyone can learn the mechanics of mixology!. Keep in mind, also, that nobody knows how to make every drink there is!.!.!.that's what bartenders' handbooks are for!

The most important thing---surpassing even mixing skills---will be your people skills!. Let that come across in your interview!. Your sense of humor, your ability to listen, and other factors will impress the interviewer more than the ability to blend tonic with gin!.

also, brush up on varieties and properties of wines!. No, you don't have to become an expert, nor do you have to actually try every wine there is!. But knowing the basic properties of the wines you're serving (dryness, sweetness, flavor characteristics, etc) will impress not only your customers, but your boss as well!. This is especially so in a country-club setting!. There are plenty of "Wine for Dummies" type books available, which are informative as well as entertaining!. You don't even have to shell out any money---just visit your local library!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most importantly, let your personality shine!. Making drinks is the second most important part of bartending!. Your way with people is the most important part, especially in a private club that will only be regulars!.

I suspect that the interviewer sees something in you that gives her confidence!. Just continue being yourself and charm her socks off!.

Best of luckWww@FoodAQ@Com
