Answers:
Fill your martini glass with ice and set aside!.

Add Ice to your shaker!.

Add Gin to your Shaker!.

Shake vigorously!.

Dump the ice out of your now chilled glass and add a splash of vermouth!.

Swirl the vermouth around the glass, coating all surface area!. Dump out any extra vermouth!.

Add chilled gin!.!.!. Ice strained out of course!.

Add olives or pearl onion or lemon zest/wedge!.

If necessary add a small amount of vermouth to taste!.!.!.

No apple
No chocolate
No Tang
No nothing!

Gin or Vodka, splash of vermouth, garnish and nothing else!. That is heresy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Both Gin and Vodka, at least that is how Bond does it!

Vesper (007 James Bond's Martini):

3 oz!. Gin (usually Gordon's Gin)
1 oz!. Vodka
0!.5 oz!. Lillet Blanc/Kina Lillet or Dry Vermouth
Garnish with a Lemon Twist

Shaken!.!.!.not stirred!.!.and served extra chilled in a deep champagne goblet!.


I haven't found a Martini more awesome than that!. But if you're looking for the original it is Gin, made, poured, and served exactly how Mayor Adam West posted (that's the exact same way I make them at the bar I work at)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Three parts gin, one part dry Vermouth, shaken with shaved ice, strained, a twist of lemon added!. There is no other martini!. Anything else is a variation, not a Martini!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

5 to 7 parts gin!.
1 part vermouth!.
Shake with cracked ice until the shaker frosts up on the outside!.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass (they call them "martini" glasses now!.
One or two chilled cocktail olives on a pick!.
