The flavor of liquor might deteriorate somewhat, especially if kept in a warm area or exposed to the sun, or if the cap is left loose so that air can get in and oxidize it!. But due to the preservative effects of the high alcohol content, it won't actually go bad!. And 3 months isn't a long time at all for an opened bottle of liquor to sit around, in any case!. Half-full bottles of liquor are kept around for much longer than that in bars!. Wine, on the other hand, would be a different story!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have a bottle of bacardi that was opened 45 years ago by my grandad and had 1 shot poured!. I say 45 years may have been longer!. Found it when we were cleaning out his house after he died!. My brother and I have taken 1 shot each on his birthday for the last 5 years and DAMN it is SMOOOOOOTH!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are perfectly safe to drink it!. I used to bartend and let me tell you that there are many bottles of alcohol that only get used a couple times a year! Alcohol does not have an expiration date on it!. Now wine on the other hand will go bad so check your cork when you open it ( red's) if there is a slimmy build-up!.!.!.toss it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As long as it is capped, hard alcohol will last for years, even if the seal has been broken!.

It will not age in the bottle however!. Any aging is done before the alcohol is bottled, usually in barrels that impart specific flavors & colors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

drink it!.!. alcohol doesnt go bad!.!. the older the better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
