What kind of cocktails should I try?!

Question: What kind of cocktails should I try!?
Whenever I go to a restaurant and sit at the bar, I'd like to be able to order something other than a Long Island Iced Tea or a Strawberry Daquiri!. The problem is, I don't know what else to order!. What are some good, sweet cocktails that are easy to drink, but creep up on you later!? also, what are some well-known drinks that are available everywhere, not just special ones served at certain places!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
