Slotted Tubing or Braided Hose for Mashing Manifold?!
I'm going to build a small mash tun (1-3 gallon) to take camping and I just wanted to fish for some quick opinions on whether slotted tubing or braided hose would be better for the manifold!?
I think I'm going to go for braided hose but I have a nagging suspicion that a fine grist would clog it up pretty bad but at the same time I feel that a fine grist going through slotted tubing would make for a lot of garbage in the boil!.

I'd go for the braided hose!. Everyone I know that has switched from slotted tube to braided hose absolutely loves it!. And no one has complained about stuck sparges using it!. Everyone I know that uses the braided hose swears by them so much, I'm contemplating getting rid of my false bottom and switching over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
