What do Americans call alcopops?!


Question: What do Americans call alcopops!?
As in stuff like Smirnoff Ice, Reef, WKD and such!. Somebody asked me for it today and I can't remember for the life of me what it was! I believe it was a generic term for them!.

I think of them as sissy drinks, but they are called wine coolers and sometimes alcopops!.
I can't stand those things!. They give me killer indigestion!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
We just refer to them as malt beverages!. At least at the bar I work at we do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
