How long is my beer good for?!
I bought some Christmas beer (5!.9% alc!. if it matters) in March
and still have a few left!. The weather here is getting quite warm
(109 with the heat index today, 96 without) and I was thinking of
keeping them but I've been advised to switch to easy-drinking lager+pilsner beers at that time!. Bottom line how much longer do I have to drink the Christmas stuff before it goes bad!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's unlikely the beer (ale!?) is spoiled but it isn't suitable for drinking so have included a link - hope you and your friends enjoy the pork chops!.
Beer should be refrigerated and I wouldn't keep it for more than a few months!. Beers from a, very, small (micro-micro-) brewery won't last as long because some aren't pasteurized!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only two ways to know if a beer has gone bad is:
1!. Look at it: if it is cloudy or has stuff floating in it that wasn't there before, it is bad
or
2!. Taste test: if it taste sweet and dull, it is bad
Even if it tastes bad though, you can still drink it without getting sick (i've drinkin rotten beer when ive been really really desperate)!. It is just really nasty tasting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
