I know what you mean about AA!. It's depressing as h**l!. I went for over 9 years, have been sober nearly 10!. Enough was enough of that crew!.
I am not a nurse or a doctor; I assume you aren't able to see one (no insurance!?) or you would not be asking this question on YA!.
I believe that you are safe with the O'Doule's from a liver standpoint!. But that's not my concern!. I wonder where you are that you are drinking this stuff!. Are you still hanging out in a bar with your friends!? If so, that probably IS something you're eventually going to have to stop doing if you plan on saving your liver!. Sitting around watching other people get drunk is no fun; eventually you'll have to join in and there you go!.
Now if you are not talking about hanging around in bars, if you're just talking about socializing with friends who have an occasional beer--that's a different deal, something most nondrinkers have no problem doing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Those meetings are depressing!. I know exactly what you mean!. But transfering your craving to something else could have bad results alcoholic or not!. If you cannot drink then its just that!. Dont substitute one addiction for another or anything like that!. I know its hard when your used to something especially when you really like that something but focus on the positive effects of the change your making and it will make it easier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Just limit your consume of artificial beerWww@FoodAQ@Com
I'm a bartender who has tons of customers who have resorted to O'douls!. It seems to take care of the cravings!. And it's alot more fun WATCHING people being drunken idiots than BEING a drunken idiot!. Best of luck with your sobriety!. also, something that really helped me stop drinking: I remembered the date I had my last shot!. Then it became a game to see if I could go 1 day, then 1 week, then a month & so on!. When I started pushing that year-mark, there was no way I was gonna screw it up! It's been over 4 years since my last drink & I'm in a bar almost every night!. Living life is so much more fun than sitting on a barstool waiting for something to happen! Once again, good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Oduels is not alcohol free and drinking it does not mean your sober because it only has such a low alcohol rate!. Having liver problems is a sign that you may be alcoholic and therefore should consume no alcohol at all in any shape or form!. But of course being an alcoholic if you are like I am hearing that may not make any differance to you!. Only a bottom sufficiant enough to smash the idea that you can drink like normal people may be required!. As in my case!.
I have been sober now for over 5 years and even though I may have found AA meetings depressing I continued to go and in time realized they were not depressing I was depressing!. Alcohol is but a symptom of our disease we had to get down to causes and conditions, ie!. reasons we drank!. Facing those reasons, feelings and emotions without the use of alcohol to mask them is not easy but in the end very rewarding!
Give AA a chance and leave the Oduels on the shelf and get honest with yourself!. It's your life my friend how do you want to live it!?
Keep coming back!.!.!. NamasteWww@FoodAQ@Com

Erik: was in the same boat last september I am an er nurse burnt out, depressed since death of father and drinking way too much!. Woke up one night vomiting blood,(not cool to have a tube shoved up your nose and down to stomach) was hospitalized 3 days!. Have stayed sober since!. Good wake up call!. I realized that you would have to drink 10 O'douls to get the same alcohol in one can of beer!. While none is the best, it is the lesser of two evils!. After a while you can slowly wean yourself off!. I have to admit that I do like the taste of beer but do not miss the alcohol!. You begin to realize how much you have missed and that you really are sick and tired of being sick and tired!. When I do drink a na I like bush na, I think it has a better beer flavor!. Good luck and let me know how you are doing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
