What is your favorite wine and why?!
Answers:
My favorite varietal is zinfandel!. Steele, out of California, makes a great Zin: Shooting Star!. I think its flavor is more fruitful than any other!. Sometimes I get a great bananna/berry nuance!. 2nd favorite: Gundlach-Bundschu 2004 cabernet, just an awesome wine with a steak!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Any Cabernet-Sauvignon from South Australia, particularly from the Coonawarra and McLaren Vale regions!. I've tried wines from many regions around the world - including Bordeaux and Napa Valley, but this region and variety consistently produces my favourites!. also if you have to try a Sparkling Shiraz - sounds weird but it tastes amazing!. Best one I've come across is E&E Sparkling Shiraz from the Barossa wine region!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I really like Cabernet if it has aged for 6-9 years!. Ive drank it from the Pacific Northwest, Napa, Europe, even northern Africa and some other exotic places!. Its very sharp and rough when underaged, but give it a few years!.!.and it really mellows out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My favorite wine is Robert Mondavi Merlot!. It is not too sweet and not too much bite!. Goes great with food or alone!. I always have some on hand!. It isn't all that expensive either which is a plus!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
