Which was invented first, the can or the can-opener?!

Question: Which was invented first, the can or the can-opener!?
Answers:
The can!. The canning process was invented by a Frenchman Named Nicholas Appert in 1809 to provide rations to Napoleon's armies, but the container at that time was glass jars, not metal cans!. Napoleon gave Appert twelve thousand francs for the invention, making Appert a fabulously wealthy man!.
Tin cans were patented in 1825 by Thomas Kensett!. The United States Army bought food for it's soldiers during the American Civil War in cans, by the tens of thousands!. Soldiers opened their canned rations with their bayonets!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

definitely the can!!! And the can opener wasn't even invented by the same person that invented the can! When the can inventor stood surveying his row of new cans, he suddenly hit his forehead with the palm of his hand and said, "Oops!!! How am I going to get the stuff back out!?!?!?" His friend, standing there with him, scratched his head, too!. The friend finally came up with the idea to place the can in a big tin bowl, then give it a good whack with a hatchet!. The contents spilled into the bowl and could then be retrieved!. It was years later when finally someone came up with the idea that a small, hand-held device with a blade you move up and down along the edge of the can could save a lot of trouble!.!.!.!.and mess!.
