Question: I am looking for a good recipe for a drink known as Mojito!.!.!.I know it has a mint flavor to it!.!?
Answers:
It really depends on what kind of rum you like!. The classic mojito: In a pint glass, muddle 4 mint leaves, 3 lime wedges and 2oz simple syrup !. (A muddler is bar tool used to mash that you can purchase at a restaurant supply store or bed bath and beyond!.) add 2oz light rum (we use Bacardi light) and fill with club soda!. The bar I work in has a mojito menu with different flavors, Mango and Coconut are our two most popular flavors!. Cruzan Rum makes good versions of both flavors!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is how I make them!.!.!.

3 fresh mint sprigs
2 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 1/2 oz light rum
club soda

In a tall thin glass, crush part of the mint with a fork to coat the inside!. Add the sugar and lime juice and stir thoroughly!. Top with ice!. Add rum and mix!. Top off with *chilled* club soda (or seltzer)!. Add a lime slice and the remaining mint, and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
