Hey Mayor, as others have mentioned, yes they do sell such a thing!. My local homebrew shop sometimes carries it, but you're best off checking out a gourmet market, or even someplace like Whole Foods!.
2 ounces is a lot to zest yourself, so I see where you're coming from, but packaged zest will probably be quite pricey, FYI!.
What are you brewing, by the way!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is better and fresher to do your own than to buy some year old dried stuff from the grocery store!. Just Grate the peel of whatever fruit you want!. A Zester is different from a traditional peeler!. Go to a culinary store such as" Williams Sonoma"!. It is a smaller grater with finer grate marks!. It usually comes with a small handle to make it easier to grate/"Zest" while holding small fruit!. They are not expensive and can be bought online!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It'll be in the baking/spice aisle at the grocery store!. McCormick's seems to be the only one that sells it!. It costs too much, so I usually just zest my own lemons, and use the rest of the lemon in cooking or mixed drink concoctions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes!.!.!. they sell DRIED lemon and orange peel & zest!.!.!. but it's bitter and doesn't taste at all like fresh!. Just use a small grater on the outside of the peel for zest!.!.!.!.and very thin slices of the peel (no white) for peelWww@FoodAQ@Com
it's so ridiculously easy to "zest" your own lemon!. And, if they do sell lemon zest in stores, it's probably too expensive bc of the convenience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They do sell dried lemon peel, but it's a bunch more expensive than just buying lemons and zesting them yourself!. The flavor isn't as 'fresh' either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
