Has anyone tried Franzia boxed wines, with the taps?!

Question: Has anyone tried Franzia boxed wines, with the taps!?
The boxes have 5 liters in them!. If so, which variety did you try and are they worth buying!? The cost seems very low compared to bottles!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like them for parties and by prying the spout off I can refill them with my own home made wine!. My wife loves it when I make a sweet wine for her and put it in a box in the fridge!. I must admit its rather good as a cooler on a hot day mixed half and half with 7-up over ice!. The Zin mixes well like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You get what you pay for basically!.

Unless you have a bunch of wine snobs around though - the average person can't tell the difference between a $10 bottle and a $100 bottle of wine!.

It doesn't taste that bad (most wine tastes like crap anyway), and the tap does make it easier to pour (and pour, and pour)!.

Maybe try their attempt a Zinfandel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a box and see if you enjoy it, And don't listen to what other people say, I have had people buy $500 dollars bottles of Bourdeaxs, And they told me it was no good, They just did't know that they had to age it for 20 years!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends what your objective is!. My roommates and I got it for a party once, because we were rather broke at the time and had a lot of people coming over!. The white wine, I forget what kind even, was so terrible!.!.!. however, we managed to remedy it by using it as a base for a punch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Chardonnay tastes like urineWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tried 'em!. Basic house wine!. Not the best I've ever had by any means!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd rather have icepicks shoved into my eyes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is vile!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
