Bud Light Question?!
it seems as though bud light is what alot of people drink at parties or whatever!. even some of my friends drink it, why is it so popular, is it good, is it a very special beer!? what!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is, literally, the WORST beer ever made!. It's popular because of the insane amount of advertising and marketing, in particular!.
It tastes like off water - no redeeming factor whatsoever!.

Hmm!. It certainly isn't a "special" beer!.
I would say it is popular because, in no particular order:
- It is readilly available!. One will pretty much find it anywhere beer is sold!.
- It is relatively affordable!. It isn't the cheapest, but it is right in the middle of what most people are willing to pay for beer!.
- Taste-wise, it is right in the middle of American mass-marketed beer!. It doesn't really have a distinctive taste that might alienate large groups of people!.
- It is marketed EXTREMELY well!. The advertising and distribution for Bud Light is outstanding!. People either seek it out intentionally or are under the impression that it is cool to drink, as a direct result of the marketing!.
- People think that drinking light beer is going to keep them more fit than regular beer!. (Frankly, if you are drinking enough beer that the extra calories make a difference, ALL of the calories are making a difference light OR regular, not to mention the big slice of pizza you end up eating at one in the morning before you go to bed!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think it's inexpensive at all for what it is!. You don't get your money back in flavor, that's for sure!.

I don't know if I'd go and say it's CHEAP!.!.!.there are cheaper beers that taste better than THAT trash!. Busch Light is leagues better than Bud Light!. Hell I'd take Miller High Life Lite or Keystone Light over Bud Light!.

Personally, I am a type one diabetic (the diabetes that you get because your pancreas is dead, not because of overeating etc)!. It is easier for me to judge my blood sugar cause there are so few carbs in it!. I think it tastes like dirty water though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
it is an easy to drink and affordable beer!. it is not particularly special, but if you are at a party and are going to be there for hours, it is easier than drinking a heavy full bodied beer!.
