A friend of mine was telling me beer in Europe was much more expensive.?!

Question: A friend of mine was telling me beer in Europe was much more expensive!.!?
I understand it probably all depends on where you are purchasing it at!. Downtown London is going to be more expensive than some pub in the middle of nowhere!.

On average we pay $3 to $4 a pint for average beer and $5 or $6 for a better beer in the bar!. So if the pound is roughly double the dollar that would make it 6 - 8 and 10 - 12 in British pounds!.

Does that sound right!? Or am I way off base!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
