Answers:
First of all, American & Canadian macro-produced lagers are all made the same way & they are all poor representations of what real beer is!. Bud, Miller, Coors, Labatt, etc!.!.!.all the same!. Craft beer is a different story!. The US is known for producing watery, flavorless beer, but many people aren't aware of other beer that is available, beer that actually has flavor!

American craft beers are now among some of the best in the world!. Brewers like Allagash, Victory, Lost Abbey, Dogfish Head, Stone, Three Floyds, etc!. are experimenting with extreme styles as well as traditional styles that rival beers from Germany, even Belgium (of course there's nothing like an authentic trappist ale)!.

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) is currently planning to introduce more American craft beers to Canadian drinkers!. Currently, there is not much available, but there is much demand!. Brands like Rogue, Dogfish Head & Southern Tier will soon be available in parts of Canada!.

In terms of craft beer being produced in Canada, the one that I'm familiar with is Unibroue!.!.!.I don't think theres much else available in the states from Canada!. Unibroue is an excellent brewer in my opinion, but I still believe the US craft market dominates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Neither!. They all tast the same!. I was present a few years ago at a taste test where Canadians who were beeer drinkers were challenged to identify different beers in a ablind test, ie glasses with numbers on!. They all failed because it all comes out of the same tap at labbatts and ll tastes the same!. Only the advertising is different!. The beer is horse urine!.
This sgoing to make me unpopular!.
also they add all sorts of chemicals and preservatives to the p!.
By the way, it is all lager in north america!. Ale is brewed in a different way!.
german beer is pure and probably the best around!. It is made from four pure ingredients!.
The original Budweiser from Austria is a beautiful drink!. The american counterpart is a poor chemical relation!.
So my answer is, ignore any north american beer (lager) and drink something from anywhere else in the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have been drinking beer my whole life and I can appreciate a good cold beer!.!.!.!.!.therefore, I am leaning towards the American lagers such as Bud Light!. I am fond of craft beers and imports, but, as an American!.!.!.!.I am a guzzler and guzzling fine beers, Canadian Beers and craft beers is not a good policy!. Yes, there are some great lunch beers from Canada!.!.!.!.!.!.like a Labatt's with a pasta dish or sandwich!. But when it comes down to just sitting around drinking!.!.!.!.I am all about the American lagers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I went to school in Quebec (oui je parle francais) but live in Texas (y si hablo espanol) bottom line there are great beers in both countries, just as there is swill on both sides of the border!. I can't really tell you how the market has changed, but if you let people say which beers they like and which they don't, I will put in my two cents!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Making good beer has little to do with what country you make it in!. There's amazing American beer just like there is sh*tty German beer!. I will never enjoy drinking a crappy beer like Labatt Blue or a Budweiser the same way I would enjoy a better than average beer like Sam Adams or a superb beer like Dogfish Head!. What makes great beer is the care that goes into it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It really depends what mood I'm in!. Typically, if I'm just relaxing and having a beer, It's Coors Light!. It's a very light flavored beer, and isn't overly heavy!. For something a little more flavorful I prefer Shiner Bock!. When I want something light on carbonation, with lots of flavor, It's got to be Guiness!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have tried some beers from other countries, but I'm still an all American Budweiser girl! Heineken tasted weird to me and Red Stripe, a Jamaican beer, tasted like wheat grass!. It was probably old though, I had heard that it was supposed to be a sweet beer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

budweiser, heineken and canadian are my favourites!. why this answer would have changed in the past few decades!? PEOPLE DRINKING SO MUCH LIQUOR!.
beer is the way to go, i'd rather have a beer than a shot anydayWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'd say most Australian beer (except Foster's cos North American Brew is Canadian, and Cooper's tastes like drinking dirt with all that sediment) is good, but there's good and bad Canadian & American beer!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

beer guy: my opinion!.!.!.
I agree with you, you should go out an try them!.!.!. However, I love more some of the darks as the best beer in the world!.!.!. any of these three will make you a believer, that although some American beer can be good!.!.!. In Europe, or anywhere you are, this beer can make your day!.!.!.
Some Mexican Premium beer are good enough too, but depends in the mood and the food that you are ingesting it with!.!.!. Here are the best suggestions!.!.!. try it and you will believe too!.
zechvar Beer 500ml, Czech Republic
Rebel Garnet Lager Beer (Czech Republic)
Zubr Premium Czech Lager, 500 ml

About the Beer now is more about how the ad companies that are hire to do the bidding for the beer makers, if the ad agency is that good, then you will be drinking that brand in particular (because they told you so)!.!.!. The beer makers are growing their market share due to the high content of volume advertising and direct response marketing, but the truth to the matter is that meantime your subconcious-taste is bombarded by a brand, your real taste buds are not satisfied with their flavor!.
Market penetration is taking some of the best beer makers out to the margins, and not into the main-stream of the real market!. I am one that believes that we should try every flavor of the beer, or tequila or brandy!.!.!. etc!.!.!. You make the favorite based on the feeling that leaves your taste not the ad response!.!.!. See the Patron tequila!? The ads are everywhere right!.!.!.!? But is really the best!? Please!!!! Of course not!.!.!. but ask anyone and they will tell you and will swear by it!.!.!.!

Beer!.!.!. the market is still growing, but not opening to taste, the beer makers will release a brand in different areas due to the Marketing gurus, not the populations taste!.!.!. shame, everyone wants something fresh no!? Or new!.!.!.!. Cheers!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
