To me, Gin is one of the most personal spirits!. It can be so different from producer to producer based on the ingredients they use!. I personally like Hendrick's which has plenty of flavor, but doesn't menthol!. Bombay sapphire is nice, but a bit boring!.

For a beginner, I would recommend Tanqueray or Bombay!. Just the classic dry of each!. From there you can move on to more complex varieties, both those are two classic, very accessible brands to begin with!.

tangeuray is a good base!. if you want something more dry, beefeater!. something different, try bombay sapphire!.

If you want something quality, go for Tanqueray!.
A perfect starter (and my personal favourite!) is Bombay Sapphire!.

Tanqueray is considered top-shelf, but Beefeaters and Gilbey's are very good and not as expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
