Glass isn't a liquid, that's just a common misconception!. I mean it can be liquid when melted but I think you are talking about 'pseudo-solids'!. (The 'solid glass runs over time'/ 'church window' thing yeah!?)

This is actually a myth;

The reason church windows are thicker at the bottom is not because of the glass 'running', it is because back in those days the glass windows were not made as well as they are today!. The glass would usually be a little thicker at one end and so the window makers would (quite rightly) put the thicker end at the bottom of the frame!.
