Answers:
To bartend as a second job is a great way to support a family!. You will probably have to bar back or work crappy shifts first!. You can lie about bartending experience by simply going to a semi-busy bar and sitting by the service well and spying on what drinks people order and what goes in them!. Pick up a book and study it a little too!. Most places are afraid of bartenders stealing so if your not scummy, clean cut and outgoing you can probably get hired!. Making Friends with a Bratender some where is a great way to get hired!. Go to the same bar during the early not so busy weekday hours and hang with the bartender!. make friends then ask them about a job!. Bartending school is a scam unless you already know how to bartend and are learning advanced stuff like mixology or flair!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

most places AVOID bartending school grads like the plague

and most places promote waitstaff into bar slots then those bar tenders get jobs working in bars

and I wouldnt recommend gettting into bartending to support a family as a new career

1!. you will work late and your family will get up early making you an underslept grumpy person

2 bartenders unwind after work by drinking ALOT which eats up the money you want to spend on the familyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Depends!.!.!.!.are you in a bigger city!? I know the fancy bartender tricks don't do a damn thing for tips in my small town! But, in a night club of some sorts, it may bring a few extra dollars!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
