Is Sacramento School of Bartending a good school?!

I agree with Lucy Fur, there is no such thing as a good bartending school!. The best way is to get a job at a restaurant and do what you can to get behind the bar, preferably be a barback and watch the others make drinks!. Ask questions and pay attention!. It's not that hard!. I did it for years and my first job was the result of all the other bartenders getting fired!. It was a rough first night, made lots of mistakes but hung in there!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is no such thing as a good bartending school!. Bartending school is a waste of money! Bar managers and owners hire people with experience or they promote their barbacks or servers!. They want someone who can multi-task and someone who has great customer service skills!. There is nothing that a bartending school can teach you that a drink dictionary can't!. You can pick one up at a used book store for $1!.25!.

Your best bet would be to get a job as a server at a restaurant!. Hopefully, you will get promoted to "bartender" and you can gain experience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
