What is the best common whiskey that I may not know?!


Question: What is the best common whiskey that I may not know!?
I currently drink a lot of whiskey on the rocks!. I have my own opinions on:

Makers Mark
Jack Dan!.!.
Jim Beam
Crown
Turkey

Bonus Points for an estimated price for a glass on the rocks!. I pay 5 for makers or crown, and 4 jim and jack!. What should I expect to pay based on that scale!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Southern Comfort is not whiskey, its a whiskey flavored liqueur!.
Johnnie Walker is scotch whisky, a different taste than bourbon whiskey!.

I mention that one because you didn't mention it and because until last Sunday, I didn't know it was a whiskey! I never paid attention to what it was until after I tried a 7&7 last Saturday and decided it was a very good drink!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
all i know is that you are comparing different bourbons to different whiskeys!. Not the same thing!. Try Seagrams VO!. It is a high quality Whiskey, but not so expensive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Jamesons or Bushmills!. Both excellent whiskies available at most bars!. They will cost maybe a dollar more than Jack!. so 6-7!.00 depending on where you are!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
