Like my mum says, everything in moderation!. I want to enjoy life while I can, not spend every minute worrying about whether I've eaten too many calories for the day, or drunk too many units of alcohol, or worry that when I was pregnant we were told liver was good for you, now they say it's not!. Every other year a study is released that contradicts a previous one!.

I figure as long as I don't splurge every day of the year what does it matter!? Enjoy life!. I could live extremely healthily and just as easily die at 50, or I could live an extra 10 years - but what the hell - I want to enjoy myself!.

(and before you all jump to conclusions I'm not fat - I'm 5'6" and a size 12)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm way, way over the recommended guidelines!. So much so that I've really tried to cut back!. I'm well aware I've been pickling my liver and now try not to drink in the week at all, just at weekends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why is alcohol healthy!? Tell a coke addict that 3 lines a week is healthy but four and five is unhealthy!.

It's all tosh!. Alcohol is unhealthy - period!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drink more than I should, but not by too much, and I can go substantial periods without drinking at all, so I'm not too worried!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

see, i just don't drink, it's far easierWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes this is binge drinking, which can apparently be worse for you that drinking a glass of wine a night!.

I drink more than this on a weekend and I have a bottle of wine with my boyfriend say twice a week!?

I dont think a lot about my health which is really irresponsible, I just think of the calories!. its pathetic of me really and I am the first to admit it!.

I drink too much when I am out with my friends, usually I have a hangover and I cannot remember parts of the night!. This is terrible and I do not reccomend not condone it!. it is a shame this is what out society is like todayl!.

Plus I live in Liverpool, Capital of Culture and a HUGE night scene, like nowhere else! Its so easy to go out and get drunk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can easily drink a few bottles of wine between friends!. So we're definitely over the limit!. Oops! I do however, go through periods where i don't drink at all!. Or i detox for a few weeks (or months)!. I suppose this is better than drinking every weekend (which i don't do) but in a way probably drink too much overall!. Most people do and it's very easy to get carried away when you're in a social environment or having a 'good time'!. Especially at a works party where the drinks are free!!

Overall, i am bothered about my health and i do worry about the effects i am causing to my liver in years to come!. My friend's dad died of liver cancer at the young age of 54 and that was down to drink!. I think advertising should be a bit more clear but apparently they're stepping up on that!. Still, it won't stop people from 'binge' drinking!. Cheap drinks and 'shots' don't help either, which to some people seem 'harmless'!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
