Why did James Bond want his martini shaken not stirred ?!

Question: Why did James Bond want his martini shaken not stirred !?
Answers:
not sure but he's sure sexy saying it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shaking the gin (or vodka for a vodka martini) with the ice is supposed to "bruise" the alcohol!. This means that slivers of the ice will break off and ruin the smoothness/uniformness of the drink!. Perhaps Mr!. Bond was trying to translate his rough and tumble personality into his drink (or, didn't know any better)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because that's the way he likes his martini!. Many people say it's not the correct way to prepare a martini, but obviously he liked it that way!.

also, I've shaken drinks without ice!. Maybe he just wanted to get it mixed up better so the ingredients don't separate!.

it also sounds better than 'i'll have a martini'Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because he is/was a retard!. The appeal of the Gin Martini is its crystal-clear clarity, aside from its taste!. When you shake a gin martini, you infuse the drink with tiny air bubbles, which makes the drink cloudy and milky!. also, you should only shake a drink if it contains fruit juices or other select ingredients!. James Bond had it WRONG!. All he was doing was ordering a watered down martini and being snooty about it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I asked myself this exact question last Friday as I made a nice Gin martini!. I prefer to "swirl" the mixer a little!. I don't want the ice to melt too much!. A little melt is just right!. Maybe Bond wanted his more watered down!. Most likely it just sounded suave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cause he didn't know better!. Shaking it implies that it is mixed with ice in a shaker, this waters it down and just is not the way to make a real martini!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Shaking makes the martini colder, waters it down more and makes it less clear!. The fictional Bond did it to be different, not because he knew anything about martinis!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it blends the ingredients better and gives more uniform flavorWww@FoodAQ@Com

Because he drinks a vodka "martini", not a true gin one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

'cause he's cool like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because he thinks he's cool!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

He likes them real cold!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
