They keep discontinuing the gin I like!?!

Question: They keep discontinuing the gin I like!!?
OK, most gin to me tastes like varnish remover; I prefer a more sweet gin!.

A few years back, Tanqueray brought out Malacca, and I loved it!. Evidently nobody else did and they discontinued it and brought out 10 which tastes similar but costs twice as much!.

A couple of years ago I discovered Beefeater Wet, which satisfied my taste at a reasonable price!. But now my liquor store tells me that Beefeater has discontinued it!.

Can anybody recommend a gin similar in flavor and cost to those two!? Needs to be available in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana and I'll hope that the label doesn't drop that one after I get devoted to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try Martin Miller's Gin!. I don't know if you'll like it, but I know I do! Buy one of those small sample sized bottles to try!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I'm drinking gin I prefer Tanqueray; I usually keep the bottle in the freezer (along with my vodka) so they're nice and cold!.

Unfortunately, the "ultra premium" craze hasn't hit gin yet like it has vodka and tequila!. When it does, I'm sure you'll see sweeter types of gin, or even the flavour-infused gins (unless these are already out)!.

I'd say give Gibley's and Booth a shot (just buy the airplane bottle if they have 'em)!.

Try searching online and see what you can find (start with Diageo as they're a huge distilled spirits corp)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tanqueray Ten is a pretty common and less piney gin IMO!. I don't know that I'd go as far as to say sweet but certainly more agreeable than 'standard' gin!. My personal favorite is Hendricks though which I find to be pretty floral but that's my mouth!. Hendrick's isn't too easy to come by but decent liquor stores here in Ohio tend to carry it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Did you ever consider that you may have a drinking problem!?

Thanks for all the thumbs down!. You are all obviously more alcoholic thatn you admit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
