There are so many great ones!. Mersault (France) is made from Chardonnay but has full bodied, nutty characteristic!. White Rhone wines are superb!. Washington and Oregon make some outstanding whites (usually pinot gris and even pinot blanc) as well as ************ pinot noirs!. A German Trockenbeerenauslese or Spatlese is worth a try!.
Australian wines are a good value and very drinkable, so are Portuguese and Spanish wines!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am in your boat as far as enjoying the reds of South Australia!. I also love South American Bordeaux varietals and California Syrah and Zins!.
Be that as it may, there is nothing I love more than a Medoc or Saint-Emillion (as different as they may be)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mostly reds!. My favorite is probably Sidi Larbi from Morocco (OK, point and call me names; I know that it's not rated highly!.) but I'm also fond of Taylor Califorinia port (See, no taste) and, of course, the wines I produce myself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
