What is the best mixer for rum?!

Question: What is the best mixer for rum!?
Answers:
Add 1 litre of organic apple juice (not cheap stuff from concentrate) to a saucepot, add 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 lemon sliced in half!. Bring to boil, simmer 10 mins, and cool!.

Mix apple juice with dark or amber rum over ice, enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends if you are using dark or light rum!. However, Coca-Cola with a splash of fresh lime juice is a classic!. It is called a Cuba Libre!. Perhaps it was created by an anti-Castro bartender!.

Juice goes well also!. Though if you are doing that, I'd suggest using a blender with some ice, booze, juice and fresh fruit and go the frozen route!. Rum is "light" in texture, like vodka and needs something heavy to back it!.

Happy boozin'!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That would really depend on the style of rum!. A Spiced Rum doesn't make for a good mojito for example!.

My favorite is Pyrat XO Reserve and orange Flavored Rum!. It is wonderful with just a splash of OJ or a twist of fresh orange wedge!.

Though a mojito with a good White Rum!.!. some pulverized mint and fine grain sugar!.!.!. splash of lime and some seltzer!. Mm mm good!.!.!. Replace the Rum with Bourbon and you have Mint Julep!.!.!. also wonderful!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
