What happens if I don't buy a drink and just sit at the bar?!
I'm broke, and cable tv is down and i miss espn!. i just want to go to the bar and watch sports without buying a drink!. do bars allow that or do i have to buy a drink!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I feel you!. I was in the same situation couple years back!. I was broke and wanted to watch some college football but I had no cable!. So I went to a sports bar and ordered a coke and a small order of fries and sat there the whole day!.
I went there so much they would hook me up with wings and beer sometimes!. Go to a laid back bar, no high end nice places!. I used to also go to the gym in my apartments to watch the games as well!.It sucks but you can manage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Who cares what people think when you are broke you are broke if anyone asks just tell them you are a DD for some people and they are at another bar and you prefer to be at that one while they are drinking !. I know lots of people who go out and drink nothing to watch sports event at local bars!. You don't have to drink to socialize or enjoy a sporting broadcast!. Order a water if yo feel guilty it don't cost out of the water faucet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well yeah u probably gotta buy at least one!. but u could buy the first one and either flirt with the bartender or flirt with someone else there and they might buy u a drink!.!.!. works for me hah!. umm but yeah and talk to the bartender for a while if not busy and he or she might just give u one on the house!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
