Will Weed show up in your spinal fluid?!
I am getting a Lumber Puncture done on Monday afternoon to see if theres any clue in there as to why i get stacks of headaches!.!. My friends have just bought a lot of pot and are coming up to my house tonight!. I'm just wandering if you smoke pot on a Saturday night will it show up in your spinal fluid on a monday afternoon!?

THC, the active chemical in marijuana that is tested for in drug screenings is stored in fat cells!. These cells differ from spinal fluid!. I'd say no, it will definately not show up!. I'm not 100% sure, but pretty darn sure you'd have no problems!. Honestly, if it did show up, your doc wouldn't even care!. THC does not cause headaches, it is given to many medically ill people to relieve headaches!. So, imho, smoke one for me too, you will be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why would they drug test your spinal fluid without your consent!?! Come on now, Madame Paranoia!. They don't even drug test hardcore IV drug users, and wouldn't tell anyone even if you were!. As you are a patient and all healthcare workers and students are bound to confidentiality!.
