Why are people so clueless about alcoholism?!
People don't seem to understand what makes an alcoholic or the life of an alcoholic!. They only see the affects from somebody they know or something that they have heard about!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

being clueless is easier than trying or understanding!. and you shouldn't have restricted this to alcohol, drug addicts are misunderstood as well!. any addict(alcohol or other) is never easy to deal with and really doesn't have a suport system they trust enough to go to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Even the people who think they know about alcoholism fail to realize that a lot of what is diagnosed as alcoholism is actually very treatable mental illness such as chemical imbalance!. Because of the stigma of using prescription medicines, in some circles of recovering alcoholics, more harm than good is done by the attitude that if you stop drinking, things will eventually get better without professional help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Why are you restricting the area of cluelessness for people!? Only an alcoholic knows why s/he becomes one!. The rest of us have no clue until it is too late, unless we are specialists in the field!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
