Controlling alcohol intake when out or having a party?!

Question: Controlling alcohol intake when out or having a party!?
Hi,
Ever since I was 17 I've been either a really good drinker or a really bad one!. Sometimes I would end the night with my head in a toilet bowl and some nights I would be having a great time!.
There are no differences in what I'm drinking (vodka coke/ lemonade) and I always make sure to eat a good meal before going out!.
I'm never sick unless it's alcohol induced, but it's becoming really annoying since I'll be fine one minute and even when I start to feel bad and sip water, eat and don't drink anymore - I'm doomed to be sick!. Anyone have any explaination of this because I can't find a way of finding a balance between having fun and drinking when my tolerance keeps changing!.
P!.s I'm going to carry on drinking, so please no reply's talking about the evils of alcohol!.
Thanx L!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

this is the medical explanation for what is happening to your tummy!.!.!.!.!.Let's see what happens when we are drunk!. Alcohol is metabolised very fast in our body into acetaldehyde and acetoacetic acid!. During excess alcohol consumption, the levels of these compounds increases!. Acetaldehyde being able to enter the brain, causes toxicity, and stimulates specific centres in the brain for vomiting!. These centres are the Chemoreceptor Trigger Zone in the medulla and the vomiting centre in the brain stem!.

Really depends how much you are drinking!.!.!.if its a lot, its just your body's way of saying!.!.!.Woah we need to get this alcohol out and fast!.!.!.If its after one drink, your tummy and what you are drinking is producing to much stomach acids, and that will make your stomach a mess, and let the vomiting begin!.!.!.I would suggest you switch to a creamy drink, like kahlua and creme or baileys and butterscotch schnapps!. White russians with milk creme de cocoa and vodka!.!.!.Try this for a while!.!.!.!.
It could be your tummy just cant handle it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Carbonated beverages do tend to make you feel the effects of alcohol quicker so try to avoid drinks with carbonated mixers!. Drink a vodka and cranberry as opposed to a vodka and coke!. also, your mood affects how quickly you drink and how quickly you feel the effects of alcohol!. Good moods tend to get you drunker faster!.
Here is my trick!. I hate beer!. When I want to go out and drink over a long period of time I drink a beer!. It takes me an hour to finish it and I am taking a break from pounding down the drinks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only thing that ever works for me is drinking a glass of full fat milk an hour before I start drinking!. It lines the stomach!. But I know what you mean it can be a thin line, I wish a red light would come on in my brain when I was approaching vommiting timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

I've not had those problems, but a friend recommend lots of butter on rolls before drinking!. Since you plan to carry on drinking, not matter what your body tells you, you might consider drinking less, and spacing out your drinks!. And don't chug-a-lug!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

have a glass of milk with your dinner before you go out to line your stomach, take a mental note of your limit, sometimes it depends on what you've eaten and how much alcohol has been soaked upWww@FoodAQ@Com

There are people who are actually allergic to alcohol!. So it does not matter how little they consume, they always end up with their head in the toilet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If your trying to control your drinking then its out of control!. Social drinkers don't need to do that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

have a full ice water in between drinks!. You'll pee more and drink less!.
try it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stay away from sugary drinks!!! That's all I've got to say Lol!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Enjoy yourself!. But take it slowly snacking on some bar chips or peanuts!.Your body probably is telling you to find a better mix of drinks!. In my case clear liquors will make feel like you explained, but brown liquors I 'm fine with!. You may try not mixing any beer with liquor or liquor with sweets ( mixed drinks) vodka is a very quiet and powerful drink!. Try a nice smoother liquor like crown royal reserve and any other reserves or top shelf liquors being careful not to mix anything due to the different ingredients in the liquors!. Reserves are fine spirits and are for sipping on the rocks or by shots moderately!. They are much milder, smoother at taste and doesn't take as much to get you to your fun point!. Enjoy and drink responsible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
