Wine is a social drink is it not?!

Question: Wine is a social drink is it not!?
I think wine is a social drink, it isn't the same as vodka etc, i think that drinks like vodka , shots and things are binge drinkers drinks, you drink them to get 'steaming' , I am 18 and since i was 10 i have been drinking wine with my dinner, its really normal in my house hold as my family and part french!. When i am out it pains me to sit back and watch my mates get 'sloshed' on vodka and shots and anything else that they know ill get them drunk as skunks!. wouldn't you all agree that wine seems to be a more socially acceptable drink!? and if so, what is your favorite !? and who reckons that drinking wine from the age of 10 is un-acceptable!? (im always intrigued to hear peoples views)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well - I have been drunk on wine!.!.!. but I do agree that it is probably more a social drink than the spirits that everyone likes to get wasted on!. Wine, generally, is used with dinner which means that your main reason of drinking it is not to get drunk, but have a nice dinner with someone else!. Therefore it is sociable!.!.!. however spirits like vodka can be social as well - if people don't drink it just to get drunk! It works both ways!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

wine is a social drink because i think its seen as like "lighter" than shots and like!.!.!.more high class cuz it "ages" and its expensive, blah blah
