Do jello shots count as open containers?!
In other words if you're driving with a tray of them, is that illegal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
It depends on the way the statute in your state or locality defines an open container!. Most statutes refer to a beverage container, and in such states, it would probably not fit within the law since jello is not a liquid!. States that define it as an alcohol container would likely include jello shots within the law!. However be aware that judges can come to conclusions on thier own, and it is never 100% certain how they will interpret a law!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
i love this question!.
the other guy answered pretty good but Ive been through plenty of alcohol and driving issues and believe me, if the officer wants to charge you for that, he can!. Thing is, if you can get to them and consume them, meaning they are not wraped up or in a box etc!.!. then that is an open container!. Put them in a cooler and put them in the trunk and your fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
