Sugar for mr. beer?!


Question: Sugar for mr!. beer!?
Im about to bottle my first batch of beer from a mr!. beer machine, do i just use plain ol regular sugar to prime with!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Generally, you use corn sugar (3/4 C per 5 gal!.)!. Depending on the style of beer, you could use other fermentables, such as malt syrup, DME, honey, brown sugar, molasses !.!.!.!. What does the recipe say!? The amount to be added varies with the type of fermetable!.!. If the recipe calls for the amount I mentioned (or 3/8 C per 2 1/2 gal!.), use corn sugar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most often you will use corn sugar!.!.!. you can use regular old table sugar however!. Please note that either aren't fermentable in there natural states and that you need to boil them in a small amount of water to create a simple syrup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
