Can anyone recommend any good red wines?!


Question: Can anyone recommend any good red wines!?
I tend to drink white because red wine is too strong for me!. The oak is especially a turn off but for health benefits, I would like to start drinking red wine more!. Any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's hard to know what you have available in your area so the best I can do is give a suggestion for a wine that is distributed almost everywhere!. Try the Rancho Zabaco Dancing Bull Zinfandel, 2003 if you can find it!. Another good one is Parducci Petit Sirah, or

well, if you do not like 'oakyness' I would suggest you try a lighter tasting red wine, perhaps a Baujolais from france!.

Shiraz is likely too oaky for you as they can be stonger!. a young (2006-2007)Merlot may be an option for you, as well!.

The Beaujolais Nouveau wines that are released every year on November 15th are light-bodied and therefore should not be too strong!. It is recommended that they be drunk within a few months of their release date, but they are good while they are seasonal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
