Can any beer drinkers suggest to me a beer to try that isn't bitter?!
My boyfriend and friends all love beer and I don't!. I do drink just not beer because of that bitter taste!. They always try to get me to drink it and I've tried many different kinds but that bitter after taste turns me off from it!. So can anyone suggest a good slightly less bitter beer!? They usually drink Bud, Coors and I don't like them!. No offense I've found some beer drinkers are sensitive about their favorite brews!.
P!.S!. and no I'm not one of those wussy drinkers!. I like most of the hard liquers!.
Thanks in advance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try wheat beer- anything German that's labeled Weissbier or Heffeweizen, Blue Moon is not German, but it's a decent Belgian weiss that's not expensive and it's easy to find!.
Sam Adams makes all kinds of beer, and they are usually pretty good !. I like beer, but I can't drink macro brews like Coors and Bud!. They taste like pee because they add corn, rice, and all kinds of junk!. This may sound snobbish, but avoid anything that comes in a can!. Those beers usually use too much hops (hops add bitterness) to mask the flavor of corn and additives!.
If you're adventurous, try to find a microbrewery in your area!. Most have sampling events that are free or only cost few bucks!. It's a fun way to spend couple hours with a group of friends, and you'll get to see if you like any specific type of beer!. Just remember to have a designated driver!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try any German Wheat beer (Hefeweizen)
They are very drinkable, widely available, very tasty, but without the bitterness you dislike!. Look for Erdinger, Andechs, Franziskaner, Weihenstephaner or Schneider!.
Leffe blonde is another widely available ale that is less bitter!.
EDIT: Sorry, I hadn't read jimbells answer when I was typing this, but great minds think alike etc!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wheat beers if you like ales, bocks if you like lagers, spruce beer if you want something really different!. If somebody calls you a wussy drinker, buy double bocks and match him drink for drink!. One of you will get poured home!.n Or match him with barleywines!. That, unlike the others, is heavily hopped but the bitternass is masked by the malt flavor!. Watch out, though; it's wicked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Abita's Purple Haze my all time favorite is has raspberry puree in it buts not sweet, but it is fruity
Washingtons Pyramid Apricot, its a fruit beer that is a lil sweeter it has a candy corn type sweetness in the back of the throat when u swallow it, its a kind of sweetness that you feel more so in your nose then in your mouth also very good
Oregon Honey Beer is a lil bitter but it still has that same kinda candy cornish sweetness as an after taste, i really enjoy it
Bud Coors Miller all of those beers suck soooo hard!. No wonder why you dont like beer!. Since I started trying different kinds of fruit, honey, and wheat, beers I have really learned to love beer, even the really dark beers, now when i try to drink a corona or something like that it tastes so watered downWww@FoodAQ@Com
