I'm looking for an alcoholic drink with a higher APV than beer.?!

Question: I'm looking for an alcoholic drink with a higher APV than beer!.!?
I was going to try Smirnoff ice, because i thought it was a like a vodka mix!. But that's not so here in The States!. it's basically like beer!.
Are there any personally bottled drinks like that, that have a higher alcohol content than beer!? (I'm a new drinker)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Try Sam Adams Utopias, if you can find (and afford) it!. It is a beer and runs 26% ABV!. Sam Adams also makes a triple bock from time to time and that isn't much weaker!. Barleywines are other beers that are high in alcohol!.

Generally, though, wines tend to run higher than beers do, especially the fortified wines, such as sherry and port!.

To go up from there, try liqueurs or, the more usual distilled spirits!.

Up at the top are Everclear and a Polish vodka called Spiritus!. Do NOT drink either of these straight!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your best shot is to find high gravity beers (which may be hard depending on what state you are in)!. Double Bocks are good, and anything with Imperial on it usually notes higher alcohol!. There is also Malt liquor!. Colt 45, Steel Reserve, Old English, which should come in larger bottles up to 40 oz!. They are usually not the best quality, but should be as good if not better than Bud or Coors, which have no flavor!.

Actually, Smirnoff Ice is a malt beverage, not a vodka mix!.
It's like a wine cooler!.
There are some beers with higher alcohol content, if you go to a good liquor store you'll find them, but they'll be more costly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Basically all spirits have a higher alcohol content than beer!. Beer is pretty weak!. Smirnoff Ice has a higher alcohol content than beer!.!.!. and it is a vodka mix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
