I want to join a monthly wine club -- there are so many - which is the best?!
Answers:
Try searching locally for a wine club before you sign up for one over the internet!. I found a wine shop that offered a monthly club where they provided two bottles per month (choice of red/white, red/red, etc)!. I would check around to see if there is anything like this first!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you are interested in those wine-of-the-month club, be careful!.
Some of those can actually get expensive!. For $20-30 per month, it may not sound too bad!. However, sometimes the quality of the wine is less than the price that is charged, and if you know enough about wine, you might be disappointed!. In addition, beware of the shipping/handling fee, sales tax, and other hidden fees!.
On the other hand, the benefit of the club is that many will give you a summary of what you will be drinking, as well as saving the time of having to shop and hunt for wine yourself!.
Depending on your level of wine expertise, these wine clubs may or may not benefit you!. As for me, I have a reasonable experience with wine and tend to avoid that kind of club!. Instead, I choose which winery I like and join membership of those wineries!.
The one that I have seen that I like for wine-of-the-month club belong to Bounty Hunter (www!.bountyhunterwine!.com)!. It is a very reputable wine merchant located in downtown Napa, and their selection is often good and offer good value, even though they can be pricier than others!. Otherwise, honestly, I will be very skeptical about the wine club and do some esrious research before joining!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
